Welcome to Closed Loop Films. It’s wonderful to have you here.
I started making social and environmental documentaries because I want to use my skills to empower, educate, and motivate. My philosophy is that everyone has a story, and that all stories have an impact.
In addition to the revolving portfolio of sample videos, there are links in the top menu to two of my independent films:
“Soma Girls” is a 27-minute short film about a home for the daughters of sex workers in Kolkata, India. It premiered at the 2009 Indo-American Arts Council Film Festival in New York City and was the recipient of grants from the New York State Councial on the Arts, and the Center for Asian American Media/PBS.
“The Dirty Truth About Coal” is a 44-minute film about the effects emissions from coal-fired power plants have on public health.
Please enjoy the site, and let me know what you think. Together we can make media make a difference.
